Kristin Haskins is interested in advancing mental health and precision psychiatry through the integration of neuroscientific research, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence. Her Master’s thesis was a systematic review examining the effectiveness of machine learning models in diagnosing internet addictions. She is particularly interested in applying approaches such as digital phenotyping and behavioural data to bridge neuroscience research with real-world mental health technologies in South Africa and globally.
