Speaker Bio

Pablo, generally known as Pipa, is a doctoral researcher on the CLIC program. In Chile, he completed his teaching degree and went on to teach high-school students in the fields of technology and physics. He joined the HiPerCog lab in 2023 for his Master’s thesis where he explored how researchers navigated AI generated information. Interested in both quantitative and qualitative methods and the interplay of digital technologies and cognition, he is currently working in video-game player modeling and looking for data-driven methods that can help us understand how digital play patterns evolve through expertise or experiences of flow.
